In 2016, Chairman Liu Guoyao, vice chairman and President Hu Shemei jointly donated 30 million yuan in cash and 13 million yuan in experimental equipment to the Alma mater to build the "SCIYON Building" to improve the teaching environment. In 2022, another 4.8 million yuan was donated to Southeast University. Chairman Liu Guoyao serves as an off-campus doctoral supervisor of Southeast University.
