Yumen "solar thermal +" demonstration project is located in Yumen City, Gansu Province, with a total installed capacity of 700,000 kilowatts, and an annual average of 1.735 billion KWH of online electricity. It is the first batch of "Shage famine" large-scale scenery base supporting projects in the country, one of the first four "solar thermal +" integration projects in Gansu Province, and the first "solar thermal +" demonstration project of China National Nuclear Group. Among them, the 100,000 kilowatt solar thermal energy storage project uses molten salt linear Fresnel solar thermal power generation technology, which is the use of multiple primary mirrors placed near the ground to dynamically track the sun's movement, reflect the sun to the secondary reflector installed in the height, gather solar radiation through the secondary reflection to the vacuum collector tube, heat the heat-absorbing fluid, and generate electricity through the thermal cycle.
Through the joint operation of solar thermal power station, photovoltaic power station and wind farm, the project effectively solves the problem of over-reliance on a single resource, effectively improves the capacity and comprehensive benefits of intermittent renewable energy, opens a new chapter in reducing new energy abandonment measures, and has important demonstration significance for the construction of a new power system with new energy as the main body.
