On October 19, the "Heavy Duty unmanned vehicle equipment technology Research and Industrialization" project jointly completed by Shagang Group, Southeast University, SCIYON and Zhangjiagang Branch of Jiangsu Special Inspection Institute passed the authoritative appraisal: the overall technology of the project has reached the domestic leading and international advanced level, among which the core technologies such as dispatching, anti-roll and AI scanning identification have reached the international leading level.

The appraisal meeting was organized by Jiangsu Iron and Steel Industry Association, and Jiang Li, executive deputy secretary-general of the association, presided over the meeting.

Heavy-duty driving is an important and key equipment for the production and handling of iron and steel, non-ferrous, power generation, port and other industries. For a long time, there have been difficult problems such as poor working environment, high labor intensity, difficult recruitment, low efficiency, hidden safety risks, and many equipment failures, which greatly restrict the intelligent manufacturing and high-quality development of enterprises.

Shagang Group, SCIYON, Southeast University and Zhangjiagang Branch of Jiangsu Special Inspection Institute jointly research and carry out "Research and industrial application of heavy-duty unmanned vehicle equipment technology", and develop heavy-duty unmanned vehicle equipment with intelligent identification, automatic loading and unloading, precise anti-roll, walking positioning and intelligent dispatch, to help enterprises improve and reduce costs and efficiency of intelligent manufacturing.

The experts listened to the scientific and technological achievements made by the project team in detail, reviewed the relevant information, after questioning and discussion, agreed that the project solved the heavy material handling unmanned, multi-vehicle efficient collaborative scheduling and other "jam neck" problems, the overall technology reached the leading domestic and international advanced level, among which, The three core technologies of multi-vehicle cooperative scheduling, high-precision 3D scanning identification and positioning in large vision, and adaptive anti-roll control of under-actuated flexible traction have reached the international leading level.

Four key breakthroughs

Multi-agent coordinated scheduling, strong brain: The multi-agent online cooperative scheduling system and long chain cooperative scheduling algorithm have been successfully developed, with the function of integrating MES and WMS, realizing the digitalization, information sharing and cooperative scheduling of multi-scene, multi-reservoir, multi-task, multi-vehicle and long chain in the production process, and realizing the intelligent scheduling of up to 6 vehicles in a single span.

Large-view 3D scanning positioning, clear its purpose: the use of three-dimensional laser scanning and AI visual recognition fusion technology, through the collection and processing of massive point cloud data, adaptive identification of a variety of materials and vehicles, and accurate perception of the material center of gravity and stacked vehicle center, to achieve recognition time less than 18 seconds of rapid identification, as well as recognition accuracy less than 45mm accurate identification.

Adaptive electronic anti-roll, healthy limbs: In view of the problem that the rocking effect is not good under the condition of changing rope length and being affected by external force, the underactuated flexible traction adaptive anti-roll positioning coupling controller is successfully developed, and the input shaper technology is used to achieve an anti-roll accuracy of less than 0.4.

Multi-data fusion AI abnormal diagnosis, intelligent diagnosis: in view of the problem of high failure rate of heavy duty driving, the unmanned driving active safety monitoring and fault diagnosis module has been successfully developed. Through multi-sensor data fusion and digital twin technology to achieve the entire running state of the digitization, three-dimensional visualization, running area unmanned and fault autonomous diagnosis and alarm, the failure rate reduced by more than 70%.

The project results have been successfully applied to Shagang acid rolling workshop raw material warehouse, Shagang hot coil workshop No. 2 slab warehouse, Rizhao Iron and Steel ESP finished product warehouse, cold rolling raw material warehouse, Xinfa Group carbon roasting workshop and other projects, more than 200 sets of unmanned vehicles, fully realize the unmanned operation of driving. The reservoir area achieves 90% reduction in personnel, the operation effect is good, the economic and social benefits are very significant, and it has significant promotion value.
